To all the blogs I've blogged before

To all the blogs I blogged... before
And now come up as 404
Social strung us all along
I should not have said "So long..."
To all the blogs I blogged... before

To URLs I once addressed
WayBack is now our one redress
Just one more of those dead links
Tim's invention has more kinks
From all the blogs I blogged... before

The internet is always growing
And with each wave of its great change
The internet it just keeps growing
And trends make me make mistakes

To all the blogs I used to write
ISPs have since shut out their lights
I didn't pay the bills
So posts aren't loading still
From all the blogs I blogged before

To servers that once hosted these
And people that once followed me
What good was it to stay,
Once Google Reader went away,
From all the blogs I blogged... before?

The internet is always showing
That corporations never change
The internet's our way of knowing
The thinks and links with which we used to play

To all the blogs I blogged... before
And now come up as 404
I wrote you from my heart
When HTML was still an art
To all the all the blogs I blogged... before

(To the tune of Willie Nelson's "To All the Girls I've Loved Before")
